Dissolved air flotation machine
Dissolved air flotation (DAF) is a wastewater treatment device that separates solids from liquids by dissolving air in water to generate microbubbles, causing suspended solids to float to the surface. Its core principle is to utilize the bubbles to adhere to suspended solids, forming scum that quickly removes pollutants such as grease and colloids.
Main Features
1、High Efficiency: Removes fine suspended solids, grease, and color; COD removal rate reaches 85%.
2、Wide Applications: Suitable for industrial wastewater treatment from slaughterhouses, dyeing and printing, food processing, and municipal sewage treatment.
3、Compact Structure: Small footprint; some models can handle up to 200 m³/h.
Typical Applications
1、Industrial Sector: Treatment of oily wastewater, dyeing and printing wastewater, food processing wastewater, etc.
2、Municipal Sector: As a pretreatment for drinking water or secondary treatment for domestic sewage.
3、Special Scenarios: Suitable for complex water qualities such as low-temperature, low-turbidity water and algae-containing water bodies.
